Opis

The Habitation Velier LAST WARD Barbados Pure Single Rum 2009 59% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is a powerful and authentic pure single rum from Barbados, bottled in the renowned Habitation Velier series from Velier. This series stands for particularly transparent and high-quality single estate rum bottlings in which origin, distillation and barrel ageing are clearly documented. The Last Ward Rum comes from the Mount Gay Distillery, one of the oldest rum distilleries in the world, and is based on a historic recipe from the legendary master distiller Frank Ward, whose name this rum bears.

The Barbados Pure Single Rum was distilled in 2009 and then matured for several years in oak barrels, allowing it to develop its complex structure and aromatic depth. As a pure single rum, it was distilled exclusively in pot stills, which ensures a particularly intense and structured style. It is bottled at a strong 59% vol. without chill-filtration and without additives, allowing the rum to retain its natural character. This philosophy makes the Habitation Velier series one of the most prestigious ranges of high-quality rum collectors' bottlings.
