Opis

The Glenfarclas THE FAMILY CASKS Single Cask SUMMER 2024 Plain Butt #2112 is a strictly limited single cask bottling from 2008, which was bottled on 01.08.2024 at 57.7% vol. in Cask Strength. This exclusive edition is limited to just 538 bottles worldwide and is delivered in a high-quality wooden box in keeping with its status. As part of the renowned Family Casks Collection, this bottling exemplifies the uncompromising quality standards of the traditional Speyside distillery Glenfarclas, which has been wholly family-owned for generations.

The whisky comes from a single cask, a plain butt, which stands for a comparatively restrained wood influence and clearly focuses on the distillery character. This single cask whisky was bottled without chill-filtration and without the addition of colorants, thus fully preserving its structure, depth and natural cask maturity. The Family Casks series is the result of George S. Grant's foresight and makes use of the distillery's exceptional cask stock, which spans several decades. Today, John and George Grant, the fifth and sixth generations of the family, are responsible for this line, making each bottling not only a cask strength Scotch whisky, but also a documented piece of distillery history.
