This Japanese malt whisky is produced in Niigata, a region renowned for its exceptionally pure spring water and the so-called ‘Three Whites’ – snow, water and sake. These natural conditions create the ideal environment for producing high-quality whiskies and lend Shinobu Shogun its distinctive character. The high-quality gift box perfectly rounds off the exclusive overall impression.

Under the guidance of Master Distiller Tatsuya Usami, a carefully crafted malt whisky is produced, which is matured for three years after distillation and then finished in rare Mizunara oak casks. Japanese Mizunara oak is one of the most sought-after types of cask in the whisky world and imparts to the distillate its characteristic aromas of sandalwood, exotic spices and subtle woody notes. At 43% ABV, The Koshi-No Shinobu SHOGUN is harmonious, elegant and multi-layered. The combination of traditional Japanese craftsmanship, innovative cask maturation and exceptional design makes this bottling a special treat for lovers of Japanese whiskies.
