West Cork MARITIME Single Malt Irish Whiskey CALVADOS CASK FINISHED Limited Edition 43% Vol. 0,7l

Opis

The West Cork Maritime Single Malt Irish Whiskey Calvados Cask Finished Limited Edition is an exceptional limited edition from the renowned Irish West Cork Distillery, which combines traditional Irish whiskey making with the influence of French Calvados casks. Bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle, this bottling belongs to the exclusive Maritime Release series, which comprises a total of four different single malts. The distinctive bottle shape is inspired by historic floating spheres that once served as buoyancy aids for fishing nets and symbolizes the distillery's close connection to the Irish coast.

This triple-distilled single malt Irish whiskey initially matures in carefully selected first-fill bourbon casks before receiving its characteristic finish in Calvados casks from the prestigious French house of Garnier. This special finishing process imparts elegant fruit aromas of fresh apples and pears, as well as subtle nutty nuances, which blend harmoniously with vanilla and bourbon cask notes. Like all bottlings in the Maritime Release series, this edition is bottled without chill filtration and without the addition of coloring, thus fully preserving its natural character and complex aromas. The result is a balanced and elegant single malt Irish whiskey that combines classic bourbon cask maturation with the fruity influences of a high-quality Calvados cask.
