Selenite

Selenite is named after Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon, and is a transparent version of gypsum, with a distinctive glassy lustre and silky fibres, also known as Mary's glass. It is an extremely soft crystal, rated 1.5 to 2 on the Mohs hardness scale, which means that it is very susceptible to mechanical damage and can be scratched with a fingernail.

Metaphysical properties

Selenite offers exceptional energetic purification of rooms as well as other crystals and objects. It stimulates spiritual growth, strengthens intuition and helps us to have clearer thoughts, so it can be used when making important life decisions.
