The Jägermeister logo refers to the Hubertus legend and shows the head of a stag with a shining cross between the shoots of its antlers.
On the label of the bottle is the following poem by Otto von Riesenthal: It is the hunter's shield of honour that he protects and cherishes his game, hunts with the skill of a hunter, honors the creator in the creature.
The Jägermeister Stag of the City Austria Edition includes all 9 capitals of the provinces.

Jägermeister is drunk either neat (then iced) or as a mixed drink, in addition to the classic long drinks with orange juice, cola, etc., there are a variety of recipes, e.g. with cocoa or milk.
