Opis

The Kilkerran Glengyle Distillery Heavily Peated Small Batch Single Malt Whisky Batch 12 58.4% Vol. 0.7 l is an intense Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky from the traditional Glengyle Distillery, which belongs to the Springbank family of distilleries under the management of Mitchell's Glengyle Ltd.
The Kilkerran brand stands for authentic, handcrafted bottlings from Campbeltown and impressively reflects the revival of this historic whisky region. The Heavily Peated Batch 12 is made from heavily peated malt and bottled as a small batch Scotch whisky in limited batches. Matured in a selected combination of bourbon and sherry casks, this peated single malt is powerful, maritime in character and multi-layered. Bottled at 58.4%, naturally non-chill-filtered and without colorants, it retains its full intensity and structure.

The Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 12 shows the typical Campbeltown style with salty, oily and smoky elements, combined with fruity and spicy cask notes. The high cask strength provides depth and expression, while the balanced maturation gives the whisky a remarkable balance. This bottling is particularly aimed at lovers of strong, smoky single malt Scotch whiskies.
