Widow Jane Rye Mash Oak & Apple Wood Aged 45,5% Vol. 0,7l

Opis

Widow Jane Rye Whiskey is a unique, hand-crafted whiskey from Brooklyn with a fascinating history and outstanding quality. It owes its name to the Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale, New York, from whose limestone caves the mineral-rich water for its production originates. This special water gives the whiskey an extraordinary softness and depth.

The basis of this whiskey is a classic rye mash, which provides a strong, spicy character. Maturation takes place in ex-bourbon barrels, which have been supplemented with staves of oak and apple wood to create additional aromatic complexity. As a single cask bottling, each batch is bottled individually, giving each bottle a special, distinctive character. The result is a rye whiskey with intense spicy notes, a pleasant sweetness and a harmonious balance of wood and fruit flavors.
