Stauning RØG Smoked Danish Whisky 43% Vol. 0,7l in Giftbox

Opis

Stauning RØG is a smoked Danish double malt whisky that reflects the modern, artisanal approach of the Stauning Distillery on Denmark's west coast. The name is the Danish word for smoke, and the whisky aims for a gentle, balanced take on smoke rather than the heavy peat character of many other bottlings. Here the smoke is meant to complement the other flavours instead of dominating them.
The whisky is a double malt, combining malted barley and malted rye. All of the barley and rye malt is produced in-house on traditional malting floors, then kilned over local Danish peat and heather, which gives a soft, campfire-style smokiness.
Distillation takes place in 24 small, directly-fired copper pot stills, using a double-distillation process. The spirit then matures in American oak casks and is finished in Madeira casks. It is bottled at 43% ABV without chill-filtration, and comes presented in a giftbox, making it a fitting present for fans of modern craft whisky.
