Signatory Vintage SYMINGTON'S CHOICE 16 Years Old Auchroisk PX Hogshead Finish #3 2008 57,9% Vol. 0,7l in Tinbox

Opis

This single cask Auchroisk was distilled in 2008 at the Auchroisk Distillery in Speyside, Scotland, and bottled by independent bottler Signatory Vintage. It belongs to the Symington's Choice range, in which every release is personally chosen by Andrew Symington, the founder of Signatory Vintage.
The whisky spent 16 years maturing, starting in traditional oak casks before moving into a Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry hogshead for a finishing period. This second stage of maturation adds depth and sweetness and brings the character typical of sherry cask ageing.
Bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.9% ABV, it is neither chill-filtered nor coloured, so the whisky's full natural character is kept intact. It comes in a classic tin box, a limited edition that will appeal to collectors and whisky enthusiasts alike.
