Mars KOMAGATAKE Single Malt Japanese Whisky Limited Edition 2022 comes from the Mars Shinshu Distillery, set at roughly 800 metres in the Japanese Alps and counted among the highest-altitude distilleries in Japan. This 2022 release reflects the Japanese approach to whisky-making, aiming for precision, balance and layered character.
This single malt has been matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry and port casks, creating an interplay of fruit, sweetness and spice. It is bottled at a robust 50% ABV, giving a whisky that is intense and well structured.
The whisky is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring, so its natural texture and colour are preserved. The 0.7l bottle is presented in a high-quality giftbox that underlines its limited-edition, collectable nature.
