Slyrs Bavarian Cream Liqueur brings together Bavarian whisky tradition and the rich comfort of chocolate. Its base is Slyrs Bavarian Single Malt Whisky, made from Bavarian barley, which gives the liqueur a malty character with a gentle touch of spice.
Real Alpine chocolate is blended in, wrapping the whisky in cocoa and chocolate flavours and giving the liqueur its smooth, creamy body. Although it has a clear dessert-style personality, the single malt still comes through. At 17% ABV it is pleasantly mild, full-bodied and well balanced.
Supplied in a 0.5-litre bottle, it works well served neat, poured over desserts or mixed into cocktails. Serving it at around 16 to 18 °C lets the whisky and chocolate notes balance each other while keeping the texture creamy. It is a distinctive addition to the Slyrs range and should appeal to fans of whisky liqueurs and creamy dessert liqueurs alike.
For best results, store the bottle upright and away from light so the flavour is preserved for as long as possible.
Tasting Note
