Opis

Ledaig Castaway Single Malt Scotch Whisky 61.1% ABV 0.7 L + GB is an exceptional and limited-edition Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky bottling from the traditional Tobermory Distillery on the Hebridean island of Mull. Ledaig is the distillery's brand of peated whiskies, renowned for their maritime character, powerful smokiness, and distinctive island influence. With Castaway, Ledaig presents a particularly innovative bottling that blends the rugged coastal landscape of Mull with the exotic influences of Caribbean rum casks and Mexican tequila casks. The result is a whisky full of contrasts, uniquely combining tropical fruitiness, maritime smokiness, and spicy depth.

The special feature of Ledaig Castaway lies in its rare dual-cask maturation. After maturation, the whisky received influences from former Caribbean rum casks as well as Mexican tequila casks, resulting in an exceptional spectrum of aromas. Exotic fruits, agave notes, and sweet vanilla blend with the signature peat smoke of Ledaig. This cask strength whisky is bottled at a robust 61.1% ABV, without chill filtration or added coloring. The premium gift box perfectly complements this exclusive bottling, making it a highly sought-after edition for collectors and connoisseurs of exceptional cask maturations.
