Opis

The Glenfiddich 16 Years Old Aston Martin Formula One Team Edition 2 is a 16-year-old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky born from the partnership between Glenfiddich and the Aston Martin Formula One Team. This edition focuses on the fusion of two worlds where precision, experience, and foresight play a crucial role. For its composition, Glenfiddich utilizes an exceptionally diverse selection of casks, including first-fill bourbon barrels, Fino sherry butts, wine casks, port pipes, and Oloroso sherry casks. The interplay of these different cask types carefully balances sweetness, structure, and depth, while preserving the classic character of Glenfiddich single malts.

Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman is responsible for fine-tuning the whisky, and his sensory expertise is central to the development of this bottling. The collaboration with Aston Martin Formula One draws parallels between whisky making and motorsport: decisions are made long before the final product and demand precision, curiosity, experience, and vision. After 16 years of maturation, the Glenfiddich Aston Martin Formula One Team Edition 2 is presented at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle, complete with a gift box. The combination of five different cask types, extended maturation, and the special Aston Martin Formula One collaboration makes this edition appealing to both connoisseurs of mature Speyside whiskies and collectors of exceptional Glenfiddich bottlings.
