Opis

The Edradour 10 Years Old Sauternes Casks Small Batch 2016 46% ABV 0.7 L + UK is a captivating Highland single malt Scotch whisky that combines the traditional craftsmanship of the renowned Edradour Distillery with the elegant influence of sweet French wine casks. This historic distillery in the Scottish Highlands is one of the smallest in the country and is known for its artisanal production and exceptional cask maturation. This small batch bottling was distilled in 2016, matured for a total of 10 years, and acquired its distinctive character from selected Sauternes wine casks from Bordeaux.

Maturation in former Sauternes casks imparts an extraordinary combination of fruitiness, honey sweetness, and spicy depth to this single malt whisky. The famous sweet wine casks add further complexity, bringing out elegant notes of apricot, candied fruit, and vanilla. The whisky is bottled at 46% ABV, without chill filtration or added coloring, thus preserving its natural aromas and full texture. The high-quality gift box also makes this limited Edradour Small Batch Edition an attractive gift idea for lovers of premium cask-finished whiskies.
