Opis

The Smokehead 15 Years Old Islay Single Malt Whisky is a powerful, mature special bottling for all those who love peaty whiskies with depth and character. As a limited edition, this single malt from the rugged Islay region takes the unmistakable Smokehead DNA to a new level – with additional maturity, more complexity, and a perfectly integrated smokiness. Bottled at 43% ABV, it impresses with its balance and expressiveness without sacrificing drinkability.

The whisky matured for a full 15 years in carefully selected oak casks, which give it a harmonious combination of powerful peat smoke, sweet vanilla, spices, and dark fruit aromas. Typical of Smokehead is the boisterous, rebellious presentation – but with a mature core that makes this bottling particularly exciting. The high-quality gift packaging underscores the exclusive character of this limited-edition bottling.
Tasting notes:
Color: Rich gold with amber highlights.
Nose: Intense smoke, accompanied by notes of dark chocolate, roasted malt, leather, citrus, and sweet oak.
Palate: Full-bodied with a dominant peat flavor, combined with toffee, vanilla, ginger, spices, and a light sea breeze.
Finish: Long, smoky, and balanced—with lingering notes of wood smoke, salty sweetness, and a spicy aftertaste.

The Smokehead 15 Years Old is ideal for enjoying neat at room temperature, ideally in a heavy nosing glass. A few drops of water help further develop the deeper aromas. It pairs well with hearty BBQs, smoked game, salty hard cheeses, or dark chocolate with chili. It's also a hit with a smoky cigar. For lovers of Islay single malts with maturity and a rebellious attitude, this Smokehead is an impressive limited edition.
