Glenmorangie 16 Years Old THE VINDIMA Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 43% Vol. 1l in Giftbox

Opis

The Glenmorangie 16 Years Old THE VINDIMA is an exclusive limited edition from the Scottish Highlands and a highlight for lovers of elegant, cask-aged single malts. This bottling was initially matured in former bourbon casks made from American white oak before being refined in select vintage port casks from Portugal. The name "Vindima" – Portuguese for "vintage" – refers to the origin and special nature of the port casks, which imbue the whisky with a deep, fruity complexity.

With a maturation period of 16 years and an alcohol content of 43% ABV, this Highland single malt offers a particularly balanced interplay of aromas. The port casks provide ripe fruit notes, gentle sweetness, and a hint of tannin structure without masking the elegant underlying structure of the Glenmorangie distillates. The combination of fine fruit depth and floral lightness makes The Vindima an exceptional representative in the premium segment. Bottled in a generous 1-liter bottle with a gift box, this whisky is aimed at discerning connoisseurs, collectors, and anyone who appreciates limited-edition cask finishes.
Tasting notes:
Color: Rich gold with reddish reflections.
Nose: Ripe dark fruits, figs, floral notes, delicate vanilla.
Palate: Silky texture with notes of red berries, raisins, almonds, and a hint of cocoa bean.
Finish: Long, fruity, and elegant with soft oak spice and subtle sweetness.

Best enjoyed neat at room temperature to fully develop the delicate port wine aromas. A few drops of water can also reveal further nuances. Ideal as a digestif with dark chocolate or strong cheese. Thanks to its elegant structure, The Vindima is also perfect as a gift or to expand a high-quality whisky collection with a focus on special cask refinements. A stylish single malt for special moments.
