It is bottled directly at the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, one of the last family-run distilleries in Scotland.

It is matured in a carefully balanced combination of ex-bourbon casks and ex-sherry casks. While the American oak casks impart sweet vanilla, honey, and caramel notes to the whisky, the sherry casks provide deeper spice, dried fruits, and an elegant, full-bodied structure.
