Exclusive delicando bottling: Plantation Rum Guatemala Single Cask Madeira Finish

The renowned Plantation rums are known to delight connoisseurs and aficionados worldwide. The Plantation Rum Guatemala Single Cask Madeira Finish, exclusively bottled by delicando, is another highlight of this unique collection. It combines traditional methods with innovative refinement, making it an exquisite choice for rum enthusiasts.

This high-quality rum begins its journey in the fertile regions of the Caribbean and South America and is then transported to France, where it undergoes its final refinement in Ars. Here it is treated according to the traditional "double ageing" method, which is carried out in small, decommissioned oak cognac barrels and has been known since the 18th and 19th centuries for its ability to develop the aromas in depth.

The ageing process of Plantation Rum Guatemala begins with three years of ageing in bourbon barrels, which gives it an ester content of 49 g/hL. It is then further refined for four months in FERRAND barrels before receiving its unmistakable finish through eight months of ageing in red Madeira casks. Bottled in 2023 with a dosage of 15 g/L, this rum is characterized by a particularly rich and expressive variety of aromas.

Thanks to this careful and specific maturation, the Plantation Rum Guatemala Single Cask Madeira Finish offers impressive taste characteristics and special qualities that make it an outstanding representative of the Plantation Rum collection. Enjoy the deep and multi-layered aroma composition that makes this rum an unforgettable experience for every rum lover.
